Batman xbox 360 controller catpad doesn't fit?

I bought a batman arkham city xbox 360 wired controller but my chat pad doesn't fit cuz the design. I saw online I need an extender to plug into the chatpad so it will fit it looks like a headset plug that has a plug on one side and a hole in the other for plugging it into the chatpad but i can't seem to find a one online again. Where should I look. Help please anyone lol
